Find that quiet space where you can spend 10-15 minutes in total relaxation. Better yet learn to visualize during your meditation and feel the power of your mind. But if you don’t like to meditate then spend that time in quiet just reflecting on the silence and peace.

2. Be passionate,

and by that I mean find your passion. And not just something you think you like to do. But something that you cant wait to wake up and do. Whatever that may be make sure it is something you love, or something as simple as a thing you always have wanted to do.

3. Giggle, burst out laughing,

and finish it off with a smile. If you have a hard time laughing start with a smile over something funny, move to a little giggle, and let it flow into a natural laugh. So do yourself a favor and chuckle at your problems and reduce that stress.

4. Get in touch,

and by that I mean get a massage, a hug, or any other type of physical affection. We all need some type of physical touch and a massage or hug will fit that requirement.

5. Eat right and get out and move.

This is pretty self evident, but so many people don’t do this. Nutritious food, and moving help keep our mind feeling and working at its very best.

6. Get rid of the negative media in your life,

this includes the news, social media, and other types of negative film and music. Remember what goes on in the mind comes out in life so try and fill it with positive influences.

7. Pet your pet!

An easy way to reduce anxiety and stress is to take care of your pet. Give them a nice scratch or pet and watch your blood pressure go down.

Pay for the persons toll behind you. Pay for someones coffee, meal, or even groceries. Or if you cant do it anonymously try holding the door open for someone, help loading a heavy item, or simply say hello!

14. Practice being patient.

Did you know you can reduce stress and anxiety by delaying gratification. Always striving for instant gratification can cause things to spiral out of control. Slow down and let things happen as they may.

15. Dress up.

Go out looking your very best, and watch your self-esteem sky rocket. Get a nice hair cut, bathe, and dress sharply. Then go out and enjoy yourself. Better yet find an event and attend it with your super look.

Ask someone you care about for help, even if it is just to talk with you for a few minutes. Or say something nice about someone else to others. Or compliment a complete stranger.

17. Learn to say NO and learn to forgive yourself for saying NO.
